The Coziest Banana Date Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp honey

  • ½ tbs chia seeds

  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt)

  • ½ banana, sliced

  • 2 tbs chopped dates

  • Drizzle of natural creamy but butter

  • Sprinkle of granola


Instructions

  1. In a small sauté pan, combine the oats and water. Begin to cook over medium heat, add in the cinnamon, honey, and chia seeds. Stir frequently until oats are cooked, they will be ready in ~5 minutes.

  2. Transfer the cooked oats to a bowl. Top with the sliced banana, scoop of vanilla Greek yogurt, date pieces, and granola. Finish with a drizzle of peanut or almond butter.

  3. Enjoy this cozy breakfast that tastes delicious and keeps you full for hours!
