Yields 10-12 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup butter, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar

  • 1 egg, room temperature

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup M&Ms

  • 1/3 cup mini white chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.

  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the M&Ms and mini white chocolate chips.

  5. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  6. Roll the dough into balls (about 1–1.5 tablespoons each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.

  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy your mini batch of chewy, delicious cookies!
